About this product
The Birkenstock Madrid sandal is the original Birkenstock sandal and a true icon of minimalist style and legendary comfort. First introduced over 50 years ago as a simple “gymnastics sandal,” the Birkenstock Madrid has evolved into a timeless summer staple known for its clean design and supportive feel.
This version features a durable Birko-Flor® nubuck upper, a skin-friendly synthetic material designed to replicate the texture and appearance of nubuck leather while remaining lightweight and easy to maintain. Built around Birkenstock’s signature contoured cork-latex footbed, the Madrid molds to your feet over time to deliver personalized comfort, excellent arch support, and long-lasting wear.
Simple, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, the Birkenstock Madrid is perfect for beach days, cottage weekends, summer travel, and everyday warm-weather style.
