About this product
The Story of the Madras Mango Wood Bowl Set
Born from the lush, sun-drenched mango groves of India, the Madras Mango Wood Bowl Set is more than just serveware — it’s a story of craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless beauty. Each piece begins as sustainably sourced wood, carefully gathered from protected groves, where artisans select only the finest cuts.
Shaped and smoothed by hand, the natural grain of the mango wood reveals swirling striations and subtle highlights — a fingerprint from the earth itself — ensuring no two sets are ever exactly alike. The bowls’ softly curved forms rest gracefully on a matching tray, making the set as functional as it is artful. Finished with a food-safe enamel coating, they’re ready to cradle everything from colorful dips to decadent desserts.
Crafted ethically in small batches, this set honors the artistry and tradition passed down through generations of Indian woodworkers. As with all handcrafted treasures, a bit of care will ensure its beauty lasts for years to come — hand wash with mild soap, and avoid harsh detergents or soaking to preserve the wood’s natural character.
