Cast from one piece of iron and coated about 15 times with vegetable and soy oils to jump-start the seasoning process so you can enjoy your pan right away. Lodge has been manufacturing their cast iron pans in the United States for over 110 years. These pans are durable, distribute the heat evenly, and can get searing hot if you want it to, or simmer slowly all day. This is just like your Grandmother's cast iron.
