Measuring 18″ × 3″ × 12″, it securely holds six 42 lb John Deere suitcase weights (purchased separately) for a total installed ballast weight of 262 lbs.

Installation is quick and hassle‑free — the bar bolts directly to your tractor’s frame using existing bolts, with no drilling required. Proper rear ballast is essential when operating a front‑end loader, helping to prevent front‑heavy handling, improve steering control, and reduce the risk of tipping.
