LavaFlats are a portable, full-scale light control system designed to replace traditional foam-core V-Flats.
Each LavaFlat consists of a 48" × 96" (4x8 Floppy style) dual-sided grid cloth panel suspended by collapsible shock-pole crossbars, allowing the unit to deploy at full size while packing down for transport. The LavaFlat mounts to a standard light stand or C-stand via a custom mounting block. The LavaFlat offers full control for bounce, negative fill, blocking, or set division in both studio and on-location environments.

LavaFlat includes two collapsible poles. You only really need one, but you can insert a pole into the bottom pole pocket for a more rigid flat hanging panel. Additionally, you can loop the bottom pole back up to the top knob to create a 4'x4' panel. Just flip the panel for white or black.

*To remove fold wrinkles: Gently steam (on black side) OR place in dryer on low setting with a damp towel for 25 minutes. Repeat as needed.
