Our striped knit in a single piece — the same soft oatmeal and cream stripe and pink and cream stripe, as the sweater set, made up as a long-sleeve romper. Ribbed at the mock neck, cuffs, and leg openings, so it stays where it should while she moves, and finished with proper buttons rather than snaps.
The easiest thing in the drawer on a cool morning: no waistband to twist, no top riding up, nothing to coordinate. Layer it under a cardigan when the temperature drops, or wear it on its own with soft booties.
