Kenmore UltraPlush Bagged Canister Vacuum – Best Pet Hair & Allergen Vacuum for Homes with Pets
If pet hair, dust, and allergens have taken over your home, it's time for an upgrade. The Kenmore UltraPlush bagged canister vacuum is purpose-built for pet owners and allergy sufferers who need serious cleaning power without sacrificing ease of use. Whether you're battling stubborn cat fur on the couch, embedded dog hair in thick carpet, or airborne dander that triggers sneezing and irritation, this canister vacuum for pet hair is designed to handle it all — room by room, surface by surface.
At the heart of this machine is the UltraPlush nozzle, which delivers a tough-yet-gentle clean across carpets, rugs, and upholstery. Instead of just skimming the surface, it works to lift deeply embedded fur and debris that ordinary vacuums leave behind. The UltraPlush air circulation system uses strategically placed vent inlets to improve airflow efficiency, which means less physical effort for you — the vacuum practically glides across thick, plush carpeting instead of dragging or catching.
Maneuverability is just as important as suction power, especially in homes with lots of furniture, tight hallways, or multi-room layouts. That's where the swivel steering system comes in, letting you pivot smoothly around chair legs, coffee tables, and door frames without wrestling the vacuum body into place. Pair that with the telescoping wand, and you've got a vacuum that extends your reach well beyond the floor — perfect for curtains, ceiling corners, blinds, and other above-floor surfaces that tend to collect dust and allergens over time.
Because pet hair and dander don't just live on the floor, Kenmore includes a full lineup of specialized accessory tools. The motorized Pet PowerMate brush is specifically engineered to agitate and lift ground-in pet hair from upholstery, stairs, and car interiors, while the bare floor tool is optimized for hardwood, tile, and laminate without scattering debris or scratching surfaces. Together, these tools make this one of the most versatile pet hair vacuums for multi-surface homes.
Perhaps most importantly for allergy-prone households, the UltraPlush features a completely sealed AllergenSeal filtration system. Rather than just collecting dirt, this HEPA-level filtration technology traps 99.97% of dust, pet dander, and microscopic particles as small as 0.3 microns — locking them safely inside the vacuum instead of recirculating them back into your home's air. For anyone searching for the best vacuum for allergies and asthma, this level of filtration performance is a genuine game-changer.
From daily upkeep to deep seasonal cleaning, the Kenmore UltraPlush bagged canister vacuum combines powerful suction, thoughtful engineering, and allergen-trapping filtration into one reliable machine — helping you breathe easier and keep your home consistently fur-free.
