Description
Transform your 2011-2014 6.7 Powerstroke into a powerhouse with this retrofit turbo kit. Upgrade to the reliable, high-performing 2017+ style journal-bearing turbo and leave behind the shortcomings of the stock 2011-2014 ball-bearing turbo. This kit is easier and faster to install than the overly complicated "retrofit kit" from the Ford Racing option.
The kit is offered with KC's newest turbochargers, the KC Super Spool and the KC Jetfire, along with the Garrett F250/F350 turbo. Every turbo is available with the Ford Intake Manifold or the upgraded Pusher Intake Manifold. The Super Spool and Jetfire are each available in Whistler or Non Whistler form; performance is identical between the two, it is purely a sound preference.

Installation

In this case, AMDP was involved from day one. Over the past two years they've worked side by side with KC Turbos through countless revisions to deliver a turbo that is truly optimized when paired with AMDP tunes.

Turbo options:
- KC Jetfire: KC's latest drop-in, next-gen turbine wheel aero and high-flow vane cage. The most power and the quickest vane response of the group.
- KC Super Spool: built for the fastest possible spool-up and low-end response.
- Garrett F250/F350: for those who prefer to keep things stock.
- Intake manifold options: every turbo is offered with the Ford Intake Manifold or the upgraded Pusher Intake Manifold. If you are unsure which combination suits your truck, contact us before ordering.
- You will be responsible & required for updated calibrations / tuning that may be needed.
- EXHAUST BRAKES: KC gets asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with their turbos. These will retain the OEM feature if the vehicle's calibration allows and is setup for it. They have found that some brands have clearance issues that might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues. These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close, which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aid in braking. This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.
