A Wellington boot from Plasticana, the hemp-footwear line made by French maker Méduse. Designed for gardening, rainy days, and anything that calls for a waterproof, easy-to-wipe-clean boot. The flecked caramel color comes from hemp blended with recycled plastic - a lower-footprint alternative to conventional rubber boots, since hemp absorbs carbon as it grows. Inside, a lightweight textile lining is bonded to the hemp-plastic shell; there's no insole, which keeps the boot flexible.
The calf opening runs narrow, so sizing up is worth it if you're between sizes.
Unisex sizing, and expect slight natural color variation from pair to pair.
