1. BOX Feed Technology
BOX Feed is a key feature of selected JUKI domestic sewing machines. Its feed motion is designed to maintain controlled contact between the fabric and feed dogs, supporting consistent fabric movement during sewing.
The feeding result still depends on the fabric, needle, thread, presser foot, stitch settings and correct machine setup. Always test on a fabric sample before beginning a project.
2. Straight Stitch Slide Plate
A straight-stitch plate provides a smaller needle opening for supported straight-stitch operations. This can help stabilize suitable fine fabrics and support precise stitching.
Use the correct plate and stitch settings for the operation. Do not use a straight-stitch-only plate for stitches that require lateral needle movement.
3. Float Function
The float function allows the presser foot to be raised slightly during supported sewing operations. It can be useful when working with multiple layers, quilting materials and appliqué, where controlling fabric movement is important.
4. Presser-Foot Pivot Function
