The Journey Boots are ribbed along the tongue and collar, a minimal but unexpected detail that reads edgy against the clean round toe cap. Rubber soles borrow from old-school kicks, giving a flat-heel leather boot the ease of a sneaker. She fits close with a bit of extra room for stockings or thick socks, and a hidden side zipper keeps the exterior lines uninterrupted while making her easy to pull on. The removable insole adds cushioning underfoot, so she holds up through a full day of walking. In Espresso, a deep brown that works across a capsule wardrobe, she goes with tights, denim, tailored trousers, or a maxi dress.
