Integrated Engineering's cold air intake replaces the factory airbox on the 2.0T Tiguan with a motorsport-style design built around a full-width ram-air inlet, a 5-inch air filter, and an integrated velocity stack. The factory box is built to quiet the engine, which means it also restricts flow; this intake removes that restriction so the turbo can pull air more freely.
IE 3D-scanned the Tiguan's engine bay, front bumper, and hood to build an intake that uses the full available space rather than the smaller footprint of a typical bolt-on box. The result is an aluminum heat shield that spans the front clip, channeling cool air from the grille straight to the filter while sealing off hot engine bay air.

Installation Notes
Install takes around one hour with basic hand tools. Rest-of-world engines without a factory MAF sensor are not a direct fit and need a spacer or dummy MAF housing; if you're not sure which sensor your Tiguan has, ask your BMP Tuning rep before ordering.
