To align:
- Loosely bolt timing cover (install front main seal first) and gasket to engine
- Insert tool onto the crankshaft and push into the timing cover seal
- Align oil pan rail with timing cover
- Tighten timing cover bolts
- Billet timing cover LS Gen 3 or Gen 4 (Gen 3 with turbo drains; Gen 4 with turbo drains)

Cast timing cover LS Gen 3 or Gen 4 (Gen 3 with with turbo drains; Gen 4 with with turbo drains)
- Replacement timing cover gasket
