This Howards Cams CL118081-09 Hydraulic Flat Tappet Big Daddy Rattler Camshaft & Lifter Kit fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1955-1998. Howards designed this cam and lifter kit for pro street as well as street/strip performance and it has a rough idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio in addition to a 2800+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
