This Howards Cams 122121-14 BBC Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits 396-502 cubic inch Mark IV Big Block Chevy engines from 1965-1996. Howards designed this cam for hot marine use, and it works great on MerCruisers and has a fair idle. A 9.5:1+ compression ratio, lower rear end gears and a 2000+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
