The HP8089 runs a genuine full quill ostrich vamp in Serpentine Bruciato under a 13-inch Blue Avatar top. Full quill is the section of hide carrying the raised quill bumps, and it does what a print cannot — the hide stays supple and molds to your foot with wear instead of creasing hard across the vamp. The black hybrid sole mixes rubber into the build for more grip on concrete and trailer floors than a straight leather sole gives you, and the roper heel walks as well as it rides.
