About this product
There is a quiet confidence in a single word. Home says it plainly, boldly, and without ornament, a declaration rooted in belonging rather than place. The oversized block lettering feels old-fashioned and assured, as if it has always existed, pulled from a page meant to be kept, not forgotten. It is graphic, grounding, and deeply comforting, a reminder that home is not just where you are, but how you feel.
Handcrafted in our New York City studio using the traditional French art of decoupage, this bent-glass tray is made one at a time, layering vintage typography sourced from an antique encyclopedia beneath glass and firing it into permanence. The surface is luminous and tactile, with subtle variations that give each piece its own quiet character. Every tray is individually signed by Ben, anchoring it in his distinctive aesthetic for the charming and the unusual.
Designed to live beautifully in the everyday, the tray is food safe, wipe clean, and finished with a felted back. It can rest flat on a tabletop, stand on a gallery easel, or hang with a plate hanger as a simple, grounding statement. Each piece arrives with a folded card explaining the time-honored decoupage process.
