Start with two useful bottle sizes and convert either one for milk storage by changing the lid. The Basic Starter Kit pairs 150 ml and 240 ml PPSU feeding bottles with matching storage lids.

Designed for the feeding transition

The off-centre silicone teat supports upright feeding and a familiar latch. Use the correct marked flow for each feeding stage.

One container, interchangeable heads

The PCTO™ system moves between expressing, storing and feeding by changing the head. A pump is not included in this kit.

Does every Hegen starter kit include a pump?

No. Only kits that explicitly list a pump include one. Check the component list for this kit before choosing.

Can all the included bottles be used for milk storage?

The feeding heads can be swapped for compatible Hegen storage lids and seals. Use the storage lids supplied in this kit; additional lids are sold separately.

Is one teat flow suitable for every age?

No. Extra Slow, Slow and Medium flows have different marked stages. Choose according to your baby’s feeding needs.

Care & Use

 

Take every component apart and wash with bottle detergent immediately after use, then rinse thoroughly. Use only the top rack of a dishwasher and avoid high-heat settings. Gently clean the teat opening and anti-colic air vent with your fingers in warm water; do not insert a brush into the vent or turn the teat inside out. Inspect before each use; replace teats every 3 months and collars, lids, covers and containers every 6 months, or sooner if damaged. Do not heat milk in a microwave. Follow the supplied instructions for first-use and routine sterilisation.
