About this product
Built for serious protection on and off the trail, the BDS Skid Plate is engineered specifically for 2020–2026 GM 2500HD and 3500HD trucks running stock suspension or lifts up to 3.5 inches. Whether you’re navigating rocky terrain, jobsite hazards, or rough backroads, this skid plate delivers the confidence and durability you expect from BDS.
Constructed from heavy-gauge, laser-cut 10ga steel, the skid plate provides robust protection for critical underbody components including the oil pan, steering, and drivetrain. Its contoured, low-profile design maximizes strength while preserving valuable ground clearance and approach angles, making it ideal for both daily driving and off-road use.
Designed as a 100% bolt-on system, installation is straightforward with no drilling or welding required. Precision-matched mounting points align with factory locations, allowing for a secure, hassle-free install using the included hardware. A durable black powder-coat finish adds corrosion resistance to withstand harsh environments and repeated abuse.
Serviceability is built into the design, with strategically placed access points that allow routine maintenance without removing the skid plate. Tested to perform in real-world off-road conditions, the BDS Skid Plate delivers proven protection, clean fitment, and uncompromising strength for your HD GM truck.
