A unique handcrafted cloth woven in a sky blue organic cotton with a Tangaliya dot motif in red, dark blue and yellow. The selvedge is made up of thin blue, red and yellow stripes. Tangaliya is a weaving technique that gives the effect of beadlike embroidery. It is created using threads twisted round the weft of the yarn.
Indian handlooms are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave due to their handmade nature, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws. GOTS certified.
*For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
