The Godox X3 is a compact touchscreen TTL wireless flash trigger for the Godox 2.4 GHz X wireless system. It mounts on the camera's hot shoe and controls compatible Godox flashes, strobes and retro flashes from the camera. It is sold in versions for Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm and Olympus / Panasonic cameras, so choose the version that matches your camera. It comes in a small storage bag.
- Camera versions: The X3 S (Sony), X3 C (Canon, E-TTL / E-TTL II), X3 N (Nikon, i-TTL), X3 F (Fujifilm) and X3 O (Olympus / Panasonic) each give TTL auto flash on their own camera system.
- Flash modes: TTL, manual and multi flash, with high-speed sync up to 1/8000 second, front curtain and rear curtain sync, and TCM, which converts a TTL shooting value into the output value in M mode.
- Wireless range and channels: The 2.4 GHz X system reaches about 100 m (328 ft) with 32 channels and 99 wireless IDs to limit interference from nearby systems.
- Touchscreen controls: The OLED touchscreen has adjustable brightness and a screen lock, and side buttons let you change settings with gloves on.
- Exposure and flash control: Flash exposure compensation covers ±3 EV in 1/3 EV steps, and the trigger sets flash zoom (auto, or 24-200mm) and controls the buzz and the modeling lamp.
- Built-in battery: The 850mAh rechargeable battery charges in about two hours over USB-C with the included cable, gives about 7 days of standby, and the USB-C port also handles firmware updates.
- Size and weight: 1.61 x 1.85 x 1.54 in, about 48g (1.7oz).
- Compatible flashes: Works with Godox X-system flashes and strobes such as the V1, V860III, TT685II, AD200, AD600 and AD1200Pro series; exact support differs by camera version, and Godox's X1R-series receivers (sold separately) are matched to each camera system.
