The Gabrielle Toque by Jenny Noto is knit using soft and squishy Rasta so you know it's going to be a quick project. It's a perfect pattern for showcasing the colors from Malabrigo's Pintada Collection. As an added bonus, the pattern includes instructions for a cowl.
SIZES AND FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
One size.
Laying flat, the finished piece measures approximately 8-8.5" wide and 9" tall, or approximately 20-21.5 cm wide and 23 cm tall.
GAUGE:
10 stitches and 13 rounds = 4" in St st in the round on US 13/9mm
9 stitches and 12 rounds = 4" in St st in the round on US 15/10mm
(needles and pom pom not included)
For this hat, you will need two sets of 16” circular needles and one set of DPNs. The pattern calls for size US 11/8mm 16" circular needles for the brim, and either:
US 15/10mm 16" circular needles and/or US 15/10mm DPNs
or
US 13/9mm 16" circular needles and/or US 13/9mm DPNs

Bulky weight yarn not your thing? The Gabrielle Toque pattern includes instructions for chunky weight and worsted weight as well. Malabrigo Chunky and Rios are good choices.
