About this product
Nobody hands you a plan for the first two weeks after delivery. This kit is that plan, packed into a box small enough for a hospital bag.
What's inside: 4 Disposable Postpartum Underwear, 4 Instant Ice Maxi Pads, Perineal Healing Foam, 24 Witch Hazel Cooling Pad Liners, and the Upside Down Peri Bottle.
How the pieces work together: The cooling ice pads are built for the earliest and most uncomfortable stretch. The witch hazel liners are gentler and layer inside the disposable underwear. The Perineal Healing Foam applies to a fresh pad or liner. The peri bottle has an angled, upside-down spout designed to direct water while you are seated. Follow the directions printed on each item for frequency and wear time.
On usage and timing: Each item in this kit carries its own directions on the pack, including wear time. Follow those rather than a general rule of thumb, and check with your provider about what suits your recovery, particularly after a C-section.
Why a kit: Bought separately these are five trips and five decisions. Bought together they arrive before you need them, which is the only time postpartum supplies are any use.
Contact your maternity care team promptly for fever, worsening pain, foul-smelling discharge, or bleeding that soaks a pad within an hour.
