Master Your Woodworking Precision with the Freud PB-104 4-Piece Forstner Bit Set

The Freud PB-104 Precision Shear Forstner Bit Set is the ultimate solution for woodworkers, cabinet makers, and DIY enthusiasts who demand flawless results. Featuring the four most essential small-diameter sizes, these bits are engineered to drill perfectly flat-bottom holes, clean pocket holes, or complex overlapping holes with surgical precision. Whether you are working with hardwoods, softwoods, or delicate veneered plywoods, the razor-sharp serrated edges slice through wood fibers with ease, significantly reducing splintering and friction for a professional-grade finish every time.

Built for longevity and performance, these bits feature a quality forged construction that far outlasts standard cast alternatives. The ultra-sharp center spur ensures your drilling starts exactly where you want it without "walking" on the material, while the steep angled cutting edges produce unique "chisel-like" curls for rapid, clean chip removal. This set is a versatile powerhouse, compatible with both drill presses and handheld drills, making it a must-have for any shop looking to upgrade their boring and drilling capabilities.

Pro-Tip: To achieve the cleanest results when drilling overlapping holes or pocket holes, always secure your workpiece with clamps and use a scrap piece of wood as a "backer board." This prevents blowout on the exit side and allows the bit to maintain its center spur trajectory for a flawless finish.
