A fold-down center dash mount for the Garmin TREAD XL GPS, for the 2017–2020 Gen 2 Ford Raptor and other Ford trucks with the same dash. It mounts to the center section of the dash, holds the GPS rigidly while in use and folds down when you do not need it.
A big navigation screen needs a mount that does not shake on rough roads, and one that does not block the view when you are not using it. This mount anchors to the stock dash structure for support and swings up or down, locked in place with knurled stainless knobs.
What Is In The Kit

Why A Fold-Down Dash Mount
Suction cups and clip-on vent mounts let a large screen bounce and drift once the road gets rough, which is exactly when you need to read it. Mounting it permanently in the open can also leave it in your line of sight on days you do not need it.
This mount solves both. The lower mount makes the folding section secure and rigid so it will not move around while in use, and the whole unit folds down out of the way when you are done.
How It Is Built
- Solid anchor: the kit uses the center pocket in the stock dash to bolt an adapter in under the plastic, which gives the main section strong support.
- Durable steel: made from .090" thick steel and powder coated in a black textured finish.
- Adjustable angle: stainless hardware and knurled black stainless knobs tighten the mount after you rotate it up or down, securing the GPS where you want it.
- Mic mount ready: includes an adapter plate for a magnetic mic mount.
