Overview
The Festool Domino DF 500 805-Piece Tenon Assortment Systainer3 is a stocked tenon organizer for Domino DF 500 users. This is a loose-tenon joinery assortment designed for furniture, cabinetmaking, casing, and frame work, packaged with a Systainer3 that keeps each size sorted and ready. Item Number PRO-Domino. It holds 805 solid beech Domino tenons in five of the most-used DF 500 sizes: 5 x 30 mm, 6 x 40 mm, 8 x 40 mm, 8 x 50 mm, and 10 x 50 mm.
The size spread is the reason to buy an assortment instead of single boxes. The 5 x 30 mm tenons handle drawer boxes and thin frames in stock from 9/16" thick. The 6 x 40 mm size is the go-to for 3/4" cabinet parts and face frames, and this assortment gives you the most of those after the 5 mm. The 8 mm tenons in 40 mm and 50 mm lengths cover 1" stock for tables, chairs, and heavier frames, and the 10 x 50 mm tenons are for 1-3/16" and thicker stock where you want the strongest joint the DF 500 can cut.
Festool makes Domino tenons from solid, all-natural beech for strength and stability. The flat, elongated shape cannot rotate in its mortise, so rails, stiles, and panels stay aligned while you clamp. Dense beech does not expand and telegraph through the surface, which keeps finished faces clean and flat in both plywood and solid wood. Each tenon is embossed with glue pockets and is about 1/16" (2 mm) shorter than its nominal length, leaving room in the mortise for glue so the joint closes fully.
Storage matters more than it sounds when you work with five tenon sizes. The included Systainer3 has three removable plastic bins with dividers, so each size has its own compartment and you can pull a bin to the bench instead of carrying the whole case. The case connects with the rest of the Festool Systainer3 system for stacking and transport, which keeps your joinery supplies with your joiner.
One thing to know before you order: this assortment does not include Domino cutters. To use every size, your DF 500 needs the matching 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm Domino DF 500 cutters. If you want tenons and all five cutters together, the Festool 576794 Domino DF 500 1,060-Piece Tenon Assortment Systainer3 with Cutters is the alternative.
Who should buy it? Furniture makers, cabinet shops, finish carpenters, and woodworkers who already own a Domino joiner and want a deep, organized supply of common tenon sizes. It is also a smart restock for anyone who started with a smaller assortment and keeps running out of 5 mm and 6 mm tenons.

Pro Tip
Match tenon thickness to roughly a third of your stock thickness: 6 mm for 3/4" cabinet parts, 8 mm for 1" stock, 10 mm for 1-3/16" and up. When a bin runs low, refill it with single-size boxes of joiner tenons so sizes never get mixed.
