Who This Clutch Is For

This is a stock replacement clutch for 2006-2015 Civic DX, EX, LX, and LX-S with the R18 1.8L engine. It handles the R18's ~128 lb-ft of torque and nothing more. If your car is dead stock and you just want your clutch to stop slipping and your pedal to feel normal again, this is exactly what you need. It'll drop in and drive like new because it literally is new - and it's built to the same spec as what you're replacing.

If you've got a turbo, a tune, or you're making meaningfully more power than stock, this clutch will slip. Don't buy it expecting it to hold boost. Look at a performance clutch instead.

Install Notes Worth Reading

While you've got the transmission out, check your flywheel. If it's heat-checked, scored, or warped, resurface it or replace it - a new clutch on a worn flywheel will chatter and wear out faster than it should. Same goes for your clutch master and slave cylinders. If they're old or showing any signs of leaking, do them now. You're already in there, and doing it later means pulling the trans again.
