About this product
The DupleXL Pro takes everything hikers love about our Duplex line and evolves it into a shelter that truly allows a taller backpacker the room to stretch out. The 8-foot (2.44 m) usable floor length and internal struts deliver serious interior space and a comfortable fit for hikers up to 6'6". The 40" (102 cm) wide floor has enough space for a larger solo hiker to spread out without giving up the ultralight weight, compact footprint, or effortless pitch that makes the Duplex legendary.
Built from waterproof, trail-proven Dyneema® Composite Fabric, the DupleXL Pro is made for big miles in demanding conditions. Its fully symmetrical design lets you pitch and sleep in either direction based onthe wind, slope, or view, while zippered storm doors with peak vents provide protection when the weather turns and airflow when it doesn’t. Roll the doors back and secure them with magnetic toggles for wide-open views, or deploy them for protected vestibule space.
An optional flat groundsheet is available for added protection here.
Our Pivot line is another good choice to consider with 1P, 2P, and 3P tents for larger, taller hikers.
