Frequently Asked Questions
How do the removable pegs work?
Selected pegs can be removed to create a localized offloading area. The removal location and pattern should be determined with the treating clinician and the manufacturer's instructions, rather than copied from the product photo.
Which shoe is compatible?
This listing identifies the Darco Square-Toe Med-Surg Shoe. Compatibility with other Darco shoes or ordinary footwear is not established here.
How do I choose the size?
Compare the listed shoe-size ranges with the required men's or women's option and confirm fit with the compatible shoe. Ask your clinician or supplier about between-size or unclear sizing rather than guessing.
What are the Poron cover and stabilizer board for?
The Poron cover forms the covering layer of the peg system. The included stabilizer board supports adjacent pegs around the offloading area. These components do not guarantee the prevention of swelling or abrasion.
