About this product
Darco MedSurg Post-Op Shoe, Female, Small
The Darco MedSurg Post-Op Shoe is designed for women recovering from foot surgery, injury, or procedures requiring a protective, adjustable shoe. Sized Small and finished in black, this post-op shoe features a square toe design that helps accommodate K-wires, making it a practical choice for patients with pins or external hardware following surgery.
Inside, the shoe includes a removable insole with double padding for added cushioning and comfort during the healing process. It is also compatible with PegAssist insoles, allowing clinicians to customize offloading as needed for pressure redistribution. The hook and loop closure system is expandable, so it can easily accommodate dressings, bandages, or swelling without sacrificing a secure fit.
Built with Darco's MetaShank design, this post-op shoe helps support the metatarsals and promotes a more stable gait during recovery. Whether used post-surgically or for injury protection, the Darco MedSurg Post-Op Shoe offers the structure, adjustability, and comfort patients need while healing.
