About This Item
- GRAY COLLAPSIBLE SILICONE OVER-SINK COLANDER – KEEPS BOTH HANDS available WHILE YOU DRAIN – Extendable handles span most sinks at up to 25" so the colander bridges the rim and holds itself in place while you drain. No need to hold it steady over the pot — tip your pot, drain, and both hands stay available. Verified buyer Ben: ‘The extendable handles make it super easy to rest over the sink without having to awkwardly hold it in place.’ Dimensions: 17.1"L x 10.1"W x 1.4"H collapsed. 6 Qt capacity.
- COLLAPSES TO 1.4" FLAT – 6 QUART – STORES IN A KITCHEN DRAWER – Drain a full pot of pasta then fold the colander flat in one motion. The silicone bowl compresses completely and the handles tuck in, leaving a piece 1.4" thin that slides into a kitchen drawer, a camper locker, or a bag. At 6 quarts, it handles a full 2 lbs of pasta with room to spare. Verified buyer mace bracken (2 helpful votes): ‘2nd one in 4 years. Hard to beat that! Great product.’
- HEAT RESISTANT TO 176F – DRAINS BOILING PASTA DIRECTLY FROM THE POT – Drain boiling pasta, blanched greens, steamed vegetables, and scalded noodles straight from the pot without warping, melting, or discolouring. Made for direct food contact. Also rinses produce, berries, fruit, and canned goods in cold water. The silicone material withstands direct hot-pot drainage at full boiling temperature.
- HOLE SIZE NOTE – SUITS MEDIUM-TO-LARGE FOOD – NOT FOR FINE GRAINS OR RICE – The drainage holes accommodate pasta, noodles, vegetables, berries, and similar items. Verified buyer Maddy: ‘The holes are bigger than a mesh strainer — pay attention if straining rice or quinoa.’ Fine grains including rice, quinoa, lentils, and small seeds will pass through. Pouring note: there is no spout for directional pouring. Maddy also notes some pasta can spill when tipping the colander back to the pot — drain slowly and work close to the pot.
- FITS MOST SINK SIZES – SUITED FOR SMALL KITCHENS, RVs, AND CAMPING – DISHWASHER USE – Handles adjust from compact single-basin to wide double-basin sinks. Collapses to 1.4" for drawer, camper, or travel bag storage. DISHWASHER USE; hand washing helps preserve the silicone material longer. A reliable housewarming, wedding, and bridal shower kitchen present. Backed by Comfify’s customer-first support — if anything is not right, contact us.
