The Clutch Masters FX400 6-Puck Clutch Kit is designed for high-performance street and motorsport applications that require significantly increased torque capacity and rapid engagement. Built around Clutch Masters’ Power Plus I high-leverage pressure plate, the FX400 system delivers substantially higher clamping force to support heavily modified engines and aggressive driving conditions.

At the center of the system is a sprung hub 6-puck ceramic disc constructed from premium ceramic friction material. This design offers excellent heat resistantce and durability under extreme loads while providing strong power transfer during hard launches and high-RPM shifts. The sprung hub helps absorb drivetrain shock, making the clutch more manageable compared to rigid race-style discs.

The 6-puck ceramic paddle design creates very quick engagement and outstanding holding capacity, making it ideal for drag racing, road racing, and high-horsepower street builds. Because the disc does not use a marcel cushion, engagement can be aggressive and may produce clutch chatter during low-speed operation such as first gear or reverse.

Each FX400 clutch kit includes all required components for installation, including the pressure plate, clutch disc, release bearing, pilot bearing when applicable, and an alignment tool.
