About this product
Inspired by the traditional aesthetics of charcoal-fired pottery, this striking rectangular plate features a rich blend of charcoal black, smoky gray, and rust-brown tones. The natural color gradation comes from the interaction of flame, heat, and charcoal during firing, creating an organic finish that highlights the beauty of Japanese ceramic craftsmanship. Its matte surface offers a warm, earthy feel that sits comfortably in the hand, conveying the natural character of clay that metal or glass cannot replicate. Subtle variations in color and texture make each piece unique. The dark tones provide a dramatic backdrop for food presentation, allowing the colors of sushi, sashimi, appetizers, grilled dishes, and desserts to stand out beautifully. Both functional and elegant, this versatile plate brings a refined rustic charm to everyday dining and professional table settings alike.
