For infants, the table functions much like a traditional changing surface, offering a comfortable and secure space for diaper changes and everyday care. As children grow, toddlers may choose to stand, using the railings for support as they gain balance and confidence. This flexibility allows children to participate in care in a way that feels natural to them.
A high, barred fence frames three sides of the table, creating a safe yet open environment. The railings reach approximately chest height for young children and provide sturdy handholds for upright toddlers. With 2.5 inch spacing between rungs, the design balances safety with freedom of movement, allowing children to shift positions and explore their bodies while remaining supported.
Handmade in our shop from premium Baltic birch wood, the Changing Table reflects RAD’s commitment to sturdy construction, careful craftsmanship, and quality materials. The open design creates a clear, uncluttered space that supports autonomy while strengthening the caregiver child bond through shared routines.
For hygiene and comfort, we recommend using a flat changing pad that matches the dimensions of the table. Pad not included.
