These bowls were what started the Top Curve Collection, based on a shape I would often make when I used to throw on the potters wheel many years ago. The small size is ideal for portions while cooking, for your favorite snacks or candy, or find a place for it on a night stand to keep jewelry or other treasures safe.

E.Lo Ceramic Art is design and creation of clean modern functional forms by artist Emily LoPresto. Emily has been working with clay for more than half her life, her current work is functional slip cast ceramic objects for every day use. With an emphasis on the process of mold making the work starts as lines and shapes in 3D modeling software. Emily uses modern technology as an aid in creating prototypes that are used to make plaster molds. Using colored porcelain each piece is cast in a mold and finished by hand. The functionally of the work is what drives the design and the idea of use is what drives the maker.
