About this product

Men’s 6” Waterproof Carbon Composite Toe Work Boot

With Staple Gun's durable leather upper and waterproof SCUBALINER™, you'll stay dry and comfortable on the job all day long. The comfort footbed and sturdy grip means you’re set for whatever the day throws your way. Soft toe version also available, CA7072.

Key Features of the Carolina CA7572

  • Carbon Composite Fiber Toe Cap — A carbon fiber weave cuts toe-cap weight while meeting ASTM F2413 for impact (I/75) and compression (C/75).
  • Muddy River Dark Coffee Barnyard Acid Leather Upper — Treated to resist the acids in manure and fertilizer.
  • Waterproof SCUBALINER™ — Carolina's proprietary waterproof lining system.
  • Mesh Lining — Breathable against the foot.
  • Removable AG8™ PU Dual-Density Foam Footbed — An update to the AG7, with enhanced arch support.
  • EVA Midsole — Lightweight cushioning underfoot.
  • Electrical Hazard Rated — Tested to withstand up to 18,000 volts at 60Hz for one minute without leakage.
  • Welt Construction — Stitched, not bonded; fully resoleable.
  • Oil- & Slip-Resisting Rubber Outsole — Traction across wet and oily surfaces.

What Barnyard Acid Resistance Actually Does

Manure, urine, and fertilizer are chemically aggressive. They attack ordinary leather, and a boot that shrugs off rain will still come apart in a dairy barn or a feedlot. Barnyard-acid-resistant leather is treated to withstand that exposure — which makes the CA7572 a farm and livestock boot as much as a jobsite one.

Carbon Fiber Toe, Welted Sole

Full ASTM impact and compression protection without the weight or cold transfer of steel, on a leather welt a cobbler can re-stitch. That combination — light toe, replaceable sole — is rare at this price.

Why Choose the CA7572?

Waterproof, EH rated, safety-toe protection on leather built to survive a barn floor and a sole you can replace.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the CA7572 true to size?

Carolina generally runs true to size — order the size you wear in sneakers, unlike Red Wing or Thorogood, which tend to run large. If you're between widths, take the wider one; feet swell over a shift.

What does barnyard acid resistant mean?

The leather is treated to resist degradation from manure, urine, and fertilizer — the chemicals that shorten the life of ordinary work boots in dairy barns, feedlots, and stables. It is not the same as chemical-resistant footwear for industrial solvents.

Can it be resoled?

Yes. Welt construction stitches the outsole to the upper rather than bonding it, so a cobbler can replace the outsole when the tread wears down.
