About this product
The Brushtech Tactical BBQ Brush with Downward Assist takes a purpose-built approach to grill cleaning with a dual-handle design and patented bristle-free spring technology. Built around three sets of twisted-in-wire galvanized steel springs, this brush is engineered to clean grill grate tops, sides, and the spaces between grates in a single pass. The large diameter springs are designed to adapt to varying grill grate sizes, maintaining consistent contact across the cleaning surface without the loose bristle concerns associated with traditional wire grill brushes.
What distinguishes this brush from standard single-handle designs is its ergonomic dual-handle system. A primary handle provides grip and lateral cleaning force across the grate, while a secondary downward assist handle — inspired by the mechanics of a carpenter's plane — allows for additional downward pressure when working through heavy grease and burnt-on residue. Together, the two handles give the user more control over the direction and intensity of each cleaning stroke.
The continuous spring construction holds its shape and structural integrity over repeated use, and like other Brushtech double helix designs, a visible break in the spring signals when replacement is needed rather than shedding wire fragments undetected. The B540C is made in the USA and backed by multiple patents. At 14.5" x 9" x 3", it offers a wider cleaning footprint than standard single-coil grill brushes.
