About this product
The Brillantina Monk Strap represents the pinnacle of Italian shoemaking artistry. This masterpiece features a distinctive cutaway strap design paired with a single wholecut leather upper, creating an instantly recognizable silhouette that commands attention. Years of meticulous development perfected every detail—from the hand-stitched apron to the sculpted contours and commanding buckle. Crafted entirely by hand on Bontoni's signature chiseled toe, each pair showcases hand-burnished bruciato (burnt) calf leather that deepens with age and wear. The Norwegian welted construction ensures durability and allows for resoling, while the leather sole provides authentic character and flexibility. This is a shoe for those who appreciate technical excellence and bold design—a collector's piece that transcends seasonal trends. Includes lasted shoe trees to maintain shape and support longevity. Handmade in Italy.
