Bosch Continuous Rim Diamond Blade DB866 8 Inch Cutting Wheel (5/8 Arbor 0.063 Thickness Porcelain Ceramic Granite Tile Wet Dry Stone Sawing)

Industrial Thin-Kerf Continuous Rim Wheel for Chip-Free Professional Hard Porcelain and Granite Tile Layouts

The Bosch DB866 8-Inch Rapido Premium Continuous Rim Diamond Blade delivers professional-grade mechanical shearing precision when processing hard-fired porcelain slabs, ceramic pavers, and dense granite floor panels. Engineered with a specialized thin-kerf 0.063-inch profiling and a customized soft-bond matrix formula, this industrial cutting disc reduces rotational surface resistance to prevent material chipping and raw edge blowouts. The heavy-duty steel disc body utilizes a precision-tensioned core plate that minimizes high-RPM vibration runout and tracking wobble across a 2-3/4 inch maximum drilling or sawing depth tier. Universally compatible with standard 5/8-inch arbor tile cutters and stationary wet saws, this high-performance tile accessory safely transitions between pressurized wet cooling streams or controlled dry site modification sequences.

Best Used For:

• Premium Porcelain Installation: Executing clean, factory-grade exposed corner miters and straight cuts on dense, high-end vitreous porcelain wall and floor coverings.
• Commercial Granite Sizing: Boring and sawing dense natural stone profiles, stone backsplashes, and granite mosaic borders without fracturing delicate crystal matrices.
• High-Speed Bathroom Remodels: Running continuous, precise cuts through standard structural ceramic tile backing layers and heavy floor pavers under high-production conditions.

Key Performance & Safety Features

• Continuous Rim Configuration: Eliminates segment gaps to deliver uniform pressure distribution, ensuring smooth, chip-free tracking on delicate glazes.
• Optimized Soft-Bond Matrix: Tailored metallic formulation constantly exposes fresh abrasive grit, reducing heat friction and avoiding structural glazing.
• 0.063-Inch Ultra-Thin Profile: Slender blade width reduces material drop loss and demands less motor torque, maximizing cutting speeds.
• Precision-Tensioned Disc Body: Heavy-duty core prevents steel warping under intense thermal loading, ensuring absolute tracking line straightness.
• Universal Wet/Dry Versatility: Engineered to provide premium results on dedicated wet saws or quick dry cuts when water access is limited.

Pro-Tip: To maximize the cutting lifespan of this soft-bond matrix blade, avoid forcing the workpiece forward at high speed. Let the diamond rim set its own rate through hard porcelain, and occasionally dress the edge by running one pass through an abrasive dressing stone to clear away glaze matrix build-up.
