Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Beige Tall Salad Bowl

In its rough and flat form, the Cabbage Collection could be used as a metaphor for Portugal's rustic ways, which Bordallo Pinheiro had often illustrated. Decorative and functional, this earthenware 11.6-inch x 5-inch Beige Tall Salad Bowl offers appealing natural style for a variety of table settings, beautifully presenting fresh leafy greens and more. Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Bordallo Pinheiro Factory of Artistic Earthenware was founded in 1884 in Caldas da Rainha, originally as “Fábrica de Faianças das Caldas da Rainha” (The Earthenware Factory of Caldas da Rainha.) For over a century, it has been responsible for the design of a gallery of utilitarian and decorative ceramic pieces that have become a worldwide artistic reference. Based on Portuguese everyday life, Bordallo Pinheiro designs encompass remarkable boldness and critical sense, with patterns bearing diverse influences as vast as the Renaissance, Naturalism, Art Nouveau, and the Spanish and Arab legacy.
