About this product
Quick Summary
The BISSELL Universal Pet Hair Vacuum Tools Kit 67V8A adds two complementary pet-hair accessories to a compatible vacuum: a flexible Pet Contour Tool and a 6-inch-wide Pet TurboBrush. Included hose adapters help connect the tools to many vacuum setups. The kit is useful for households that need more than a plain nozzle for suitable furniture, carpeted steps and vehicle upholstery.
This is an accessory kit. It does not include a vacuum, hose or extension wand. Check your existing machine's connection before ordering, even though the kit is described as universal.
What Is Included
- Pet Contour Tool for appropriate curves and upholstery crevices.
- 6-inch-wide Pet TurboBrush with a rotating brush and rubber fingers.
- Hose-to-tool adapters for compatible vacuum connections.
The two cleaning heads serve different tasks. The Contour Tool provides a flexible contact face for shaped surfaces, while the wider TurboBrush is an option for suitable areas where rotating-brush cleaning is permitted. Select the tool to suit the material and the space.
Compatibility and Connection
BISSELL's 67V8-family information describes the kit as fitting many vacuum models through its adapters. The manufacturer's listed examples include Rewind CleanView Pet 18M9X and 18M9W, Lift-Off Multi Cyclonic Pet 18Z61, OptiClean 30C7T, Pet Hair Eraser 87B4 and 87B43, PowerGlide Pet 1044, and selected Total Floors models.
Universal does not mean every connector is interchangeable. Proprietary latches, unusual hose-end shapes and model-specific fittings may require another solution. Check the full vacuum model and compare the actual connection with the included adapters. Do not force a fitting or modify it to make it seat.
Key Features
- Two different pet-hair cleaning heads in one kit.
- Flexible Contour Tool for appropriate shaped upholstery areas.
- 6-inch TurboBrush for suitable fabric-covered surfaces.
- Included adapters broaden connection options.
- Useful for targeted above-floor dry cleaning.
- BISSELL kit model 67V8A, within the 67V8 product family.
Why the Correct Accessory Matters
A large floor head is not convenient for every above-floor task. A dedicated attachment can be easier to control on a cushion or step, while a contouring face helps maintain contact around a curved area. Having two tools makes it possible to choose the cleaning approach rather than using one nozzle for every surface.
Accessories depend on the vacuum's condition. Follow the machine's maintenance instructions for its bin or bag, filters and hose. If airflow is restricted, resolve that issue before evaluating the performance of a new tool. The kit does not replace normal vacuum maintenance.
Best Uses and Limitations
Use the kit on dry surfaces that permit the relevant cleaning method. Check upholstery care instructions and test an inconspicuous area before cleaning a visible cushion or seat. Keep loose fabric, fringe and decorative trim away from openings and moving components.
Choose a non-brushing method if the material prohibits a rotating brush. Avoid excessive pressure, and stop if fabric pulls into the tool or becomes snagged. These accessories are for household and vehicle surfaces; they are not animal-grooming brushes and should not be used for wet pickup through a dry vacuum.
Installation and Care
Turn off and unplug the vacuum before changing accessories or adapters. Fit the correct adapter first if needed, then seat the chosen tool according to the instructions. Keep the vacuum stable and avoid stretching the hose to its limit, particularly when cleaning stairs.
Disconnect each tool before clearing collected hair. Follow the manufacturer's maintenance directions for the TurboBrush and keep fingers away from moving parts while the machine is running. Do not immerse an assembly or apply lubricants unless the instructions specifically permit it.
Store the adapters together with the tools so they remain available for the intended connection. Inspect the connector and housing periodically. A cracked adapter or damaged retaining feature should be addressed before further use.
