This premium shock absorber will help level out your truck while greatly improving it's ability to handle over your stock strut assemblies. This results in improved on and off-road performance without the need to invest in a complete suspension overhaul. These are the perfect shocks for anybody with a do-it-all, general-purpose truck that needs better control and ride quality on the road while getting just enough ride height to squeeze on larger tires and wheels. The leveling is achieved by using the B8 5100's built-in slots and removable spring perch that can be placed in any of the grooves. These shocks drop directly in place of your stock strut assemblies and accept your factory coil spring and upper mount.
High-Quality Piston and Valving for improved Performance
Just like all of Bilstein's high-quality suspension components, the B8 5100 series rear shocks are built from the ground up for performance, longevity, and reliability. The shocks are built around a 46mm digressive piston with a nitrogen gas-charged monotube design. The valving has a self-adjusting, deflective disc that makes these shocks effective for a wide range of applications including towing, off-roading, and and general work situations. Additionally, the shock body is made from zinc-plated steel with a unique coating that combats the damaging effects of rust and corrosion. When it comes to installation, these shocks can be directly bolted-on for a simple and straightforward process you can complete at home.
