About this product
Once there was a girl ... she had a big heart and very big dreams.
Big, the multi-award-winning book by Vashti Harrison, inspires a complementary companion: an adorable, soft plush doll, with warm velour skin, a bouncy curly updo, and delicate embroidered features. Dressed in a soft pink leotard, a generous tutu, and matching ballet slippers, Big is made for dancing around, playful moments, and gentle snuggles.
A perfect gift to share the book’s valuable message about the beauty of joyful acceptance for any little dreamer.
This Caldecott-winning picture book, written and illustrated by award-winning creator Vashti Harrison, traces a child’s journey to self-love and shows the power of words to both hurt and heal. With spare text and exquisite illustrations, this emotional exploration of being big in a world that prizes small is a tender portrayal of how you can stand out and feel invisible at the same time.
