BIBS Colour Pacifier & Loop Clip Gift Set, Size 1

# BIBS Colour Pacifier & Loop Clip Gift Set, Size 1 Colour: Ivory, Sage Brand: BIBS Category: Gifts & Bundles > Gift Sets Age: 0-3m, 3-6m, 6-9m This BIBS Colour Pacifier & Loop Clip Gift Set pairs two BIBS Colour pacifiers with a loop clip in a boxed presentation made for gifting. The clip loops onto a strap, sleeve, or pram so the pacifier stays off the floor between uses. The pacifier is the original BIBS Colour design, made for over 40 years, and is designed and made in Denmark. The round shield is lightweight and made of food-grade, BPA-free polypropylene; it angles away from the skin around the mouth to limit moisture build-up. This set comes with a Size 1 nipple, suggested for 0+ months, in natural rubber latex. Every BIBS size can be used from birth: the size numbers are a guide rather than a rule, and a baby's own preference decides the fit. ## Key features - Includes two BIBS Colour pacifiers and a loop clip, boxed as a gift set - Loop clip attaches to a strap, sleeve, or pram to keep the pacifier off the floor - Round shield angles away from the mouth to limit moisture build-up - Shield made of food-grade, BPA-free polypropylene - Designed and made in Denmark - Natural rubber latex nipple ## TrustScore: 87/100 TrustScore is Birch's proprietary rating, from 0 to 100, built from 50+ signals that reflect what actually matters to parents — safety, materials, recalls, certifications and quality. We don't take paid placements or sponsored rankings, so a score is never influenced by who pays to be seen. This product's TrustScore: 87/100, weighted across 9 criteria. - Weakest-Component Chemistry: 79/100. The pacifier shield is disclosed as food-safe polypropylene and the nipple as silicone or natural rubber latex, both BPA-free. The loop clip's material and any chemical testing on it are not published anywhere in the set's disclosure. - Small Parts & Attachment Integrity: 90/100. Independent lab testing found that heavy applied force to the pacifier nipples, shields and handles caused no parts to break or detach. No equivalent statement covers the loop clip's attachment hardware. - Bundle Composition Disclosure: 84/100. The product names each component (two pacifiers plus a loop clip), the pacifier material (latex) and size (1), but gives no material for the clip itself, leaving one component of the box undescribed. - Recall History: 92/100. We queried the CPSC recall database directly: BIBS Denmark ApS has one recall on record, a 2022 burn-hazard recall of a baby bottle bumper unrelated to pacifiers, with no injuries reported and a free-replacement remedy offered. No pacifier or gift-set recall appears in the registry. - Age-Grading Integrity: 91/100. The set carries a single stated age grade: size 1 for 0+ months, with the brand noting sizing is a guide rather than a hard rule. Nothing in the set contradicts this newborn-appropriate grade. - Certification Credibility: 91/100. The pacifiers are named as complying with EN 1400+A2 and are additionally tested to 16 CFR 1511 and Canada's SOR/2016-184 for the North American market. Independent lab testing found the pacifiers passed bite-force and structural integrity tests, though the printed warning label wording was judged incorrect by that same tester. - Transparency & Support: 90/100. The pacifiers are stated to be designed and manufactured in Denmark, and the shield material (polypropylene) and nipple materials (silicone or natural rubber latex) are named. No warranty or repair/spare-parts route for this gift set is published. - Component Compliance Coverage: 87/100. Compliance testing (EN 1400+A2, 16 CFR 1511, SOR/2016-184) is stated for the pacifiers, but no compliance standard or testing is named for the loop clip that ships in the same box. - Bundle Contents Honesty: 85/100. The set contains two pacifiers of a named size and color plus a loop clip, so quantity and pacifier size are clear, but no separate saving or discount claim against buying the pieces individually is made or checkable. ## Specifications - Pacifier Size: Size 1 (0+ months) - Nipple Type: Round - Nipple Material: Latex ## Use and Care - Gently pull the nipple in all directions and carefully inspect it for any signs of weakness or damage - Always sterilize new pacifiers after removing them from the packaging - Check your baby's pacifiers regularly, replacing them every 4-6 weeks or at the first sign of damage or weakness. - An enlarged or sticky nipple means that it is ready to be replaced - Sterilize natural rubber latex nipples regularly by scalding ## Safety and standards - Do Not Lengthen: Never extend the Pacifier clip or attach it to cords, ribbons, laces, or loose parts of clothing.
