About this product
The BESSEY SQ-8 Shop Floor series all-steel F-style bar clamp provides an economical, high-performance workholding solution for welding, metal fabrication, and shop assembly. Featuring an 8 in. clamping capacity, 5-1/2 in. throat depth, and a 2,660 lbs. clamping force rating, this heavy-duty bar clamp performs clamping operations up to 9 times faster than traditional C-clamps.
Constructed with a single-piece drawn steel rail and integrated fixed jaw, the rail is formed and heat-treated in BESSEY's European steel facilities for maximum strength and flex resistance. A drop-forged, electro-galvanized steel sliding arm smooths position adjustments along the bar, while the heavy duty pad provides dependable gripping on flat or angled stock.
Select the SQ-8 for regular-duty shop clamping requiring an 8 in. capacity and 5-1/2 in. reach. For smaller workholding needs, consider the 6 in. SQ-4; for larger spans, choose from the SQ-12, SQ-16, SQ-20, or SQ-24 models. For extreme heavy-duty applications, consider the higher-capacity BESSEY 2400 series clamps.
