The BESSEY CDF406 is a heavy-duty drop-forged C-clamp designed for demanding workholding in metal fabrication, welding, and structural assembly. Delivering a 6 in. clamping capacity and 4-1/2 in. throat depth, this clamp supplies up to 6,900 lbs. of clamping force to lock materials firmly in place.
Built with a drop-forged, heat-treated steel body and swivel pad, the CDF406 features a black powder-coated finish for ultimate corrosion resistance. Its large-diameter steel spindle is treated with black oxide to preserve smooth thread movement and prevent binding under tension. A heavy-duty sliding steel T-bar handle enables maximum clamping leverage while providing clearance in cramped work quarters.
