Large parallel jaw faces clamping at 90 degrees to the bar prevent workpiece bowing and ensure flat, square glue lines across long spans.

Constructed with German profiled steel rail stock, the tool provides 1,700 lbs. of nominal clamping force and a load limit of 2,200 lbs. Its ergonomic handle features a 6 mm steel hex socket on the end, giving woodworkers the option to use a hex key to achieve up to 12.5 lb-ft (17 Nm) of max torque. The operating jaw stays positioned during setup for smooth workpiece loading, and the unit converts to a spreading tool without tools.
