The BESSEY 1200-S18 is an extended-reach all-steel sliding arm F-style bar clamp designed for heavy-duty welding, fabrication, and metal shop work. Built with an 18 in. clamping capacity and a 4-3/4 in. throat depth, it generates up to 1,320 lbs. of clamping force to hold large structural frames and sub-assemblies.
Crafted from a single piece of cold-drawn steel, the fixed jaw and rail are heat-treated post-forming for maximum load-bearing strength. The U-shaped sliding arm provides smooth positioning along the rail, while a specially hardened spindle prevents damage from welding spatter. A sliding T-bar handle enables rapid, high-leverage tightening for shop work demands.
