Forged from a single piece of heat-treated cold-drawn steel, the clamp rail and fixed jaw resist flexing under maximum clamping loads of up to 1,100 lbs (5,000 N). An electro-galvanized drop-forged sliding arm ensures smooth movement, while replaceable snap-on pressure pads prevent workpiece damage.
