About this product
Product Description
The BEMIS 1500ecbi is an elongated, closed-front wood toilet seat finished in biscuit. It is designed as a direct replacement seat for elongated toilet bowls in residential and light commercial plumbing applications. The closed-front design and wood construction provide a solid, traditional feel suited to standard bathroom fixtures. Licensed plumbers and general contractors typically source this seat for new installations or swap-outs during fixture upgrades or remodels.
This seat fits elongated bowl profiles commonly found in residential bathrooms. The biscuit finish coordinates with off-white and bisque fixture color schemes. It is appropriate for standard toilet installations where a wood seat material is specified or preferred over plastic alternatives.
Key Features
- Elongated bowl fit for compatibility with standard elongated toilet profiles
- Closed-front seat design per residential and commercial fixture norms
- Wood construction for solid feel and traditional appearance
- Biscuit finish for coordination with off-white and bisque fixture color families
Compatibility
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for elongated closed-front toilet bowl applications requiring a wood seat in a biscuit finish.
Installation Notes
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified contractor as part of fixture replacement or remodel work. Shut off water supply and clear the work area before removing the existing seat. Seat mounting hardware should be tightened by hand and then snugged with a wrench to avoid cracking the porcelain hinge mounting surface. Follow local plumbing codes and manufacturer hinge hardware instructions for proper fastener seating.
